Helping to Support Teaching and Learning

Clear Quantity Representation: Allows children to clearly see quantities in relation to numbers, enhancing their understanding of numerical values and supporting early number sense.
Multiple Representations: Provides four different representations for each number, including numeral, standard one to five dice array, random dot array, and 10-frame pattern, aiding in comprehensive number recognition.
Supports Early Counting Skills: Helps children develop early number sense and counting, enabling them to grasp the concept of ‘howmanyness,’ practice 1:1 counting, and understand one more/one less and differences.
Develops Subitising Skills: Helps children develop the ability to subitise and recognise quantities without counting, which is crucial for mathematical development.
Sustainable Material: Crafted from sustainable wood, ensuring durability and environmental responsibility while providing a tactile learning experience.

A beautiful wooden stacker for teaching early number concepts and connections up to ten.

Bases measure 50mm and show four representations for numbers: numeral, dice array, dot array, and 10-frame pattern.

Made from sustainable wood, this one to ten natural number stacker is perfect for early years mathematics teaching. Each base measures 50mm and displays four representations for each number: numeral, standard one to five dice array, random dot array, and ten-frame pattern.

This helps children link numerals to quantities, match counting words with objects, and develop their counting skills. It also supports subitising and seeing numerical patterns, aiding in understanding one more/one less concepts.
Aligning with EYFS mathematics goals, this stacker is suitable for ages three to seven and proves to be a valuable resource for practitioners.
