TTS Joyk Empathy Doll – Emelie Clearance

Overview

• Supports development through imaginative play and role-taking, enhancing communication and emotional understanding in young children.

• Early years practitioners need tools that support children in exploring perspectives and developing social skills. It aligns with the EYFS curriculum for communication and language by encouraging imaginative play. Children gain confidence in expressing themselves as they take on different roles. With anatomical detailing this soft doll can be used as an aid to help children understand bodies or be used when learning about PSHE.

• The doll aids in communication through expressive arts, allowing young learners to create stories using small world equipment. This supports their storytelling and artistic abilities, enhancing their creativity. As they play, they learn to pretend and represent objects, vital for cognitive development.

• Additionally, personal and social development is supported as children build relationships through role play. Emelie ensures they can explore emotions and social interactions in a safe, nurturing environment.
